Confederation College’s Mechanical Engineering Technician two-year program is designed to provide students with a balanced approach to mechanical engineering. The program will give you the knowledge and hands-on experience to meet the requirements of a broad range of trades including Millwright, Machinist and Steam Fitter, as well as the academic requirements of technician-level positions. Courses cover a wide and interesting variety of topics including trades science, mechanical practices, mechanical design, welding practices, power transmission, machine shop, statistics and fluid power.
