About Bachelor of Science - Elementary Education
The major purpose of the elementary education program is to provide a series of planned experiences that will result in the development of competent teachers prepared to work in the schools of Florida and the nation. The program leads to Florida certification in elementary education, grades K-6, with endorsements in ESOL and reading. The curriculum is organized to provide approximately two years of general education coursework and two years of professional and specialized preparation.
