Bachelor of Business Administration - Management - Leadership/Applied Management Skills

Program Description

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) attracts high-quality students and prepares them to contribute effectively to organizations in the areas of general management skills and entrepreneurship. The department achieves this through an active partnership with the business community using traditional and alternate delivery systems to create managers and entrepreneurs with necessary skills to advance in a complex and changing world.

The BBA in Management has two possible concentrations, one in Leadership and Applied Management Skills and the other in Entrepreneurship. To obtain a BBA Management major, students must complete one of the concentrations. Since there is significant overlap in the coursework and the major granted is the same - Management - double majors are not permitted.

Students in the Leadership track have opportunities to advance in human resources and management with various levels of responsibility building successful teams while managing an increasingly complex business environment. Successful leaders develop the strategies, plans, procedures, and policies that guide a business team in the short and long term. Successful leaders do so by coordinating human, financial, and material assets to achieve organizational objectives.
