About Advanced Master's Accelerator Program - Master of Accountancy

Program Description

The Advanced Master’s Accelerator Program (Advanced MAP) is a one-semester, pre-master’s program designed specifically for international students who are ready to succeed in immersive English-speaking classrooms, but who also want the benefit of English-language and academic training that will help them succeed in their postgraduate program. The program curriculum offers a balance of degree-specific and MAP-exclusive courses. Students will be equipped with the practical, degree-specific vocabulary and research skills they need to excel in their coursework.

Advanced MAP students receive:
  • Exclusive and rigorous academic coursework
  • Priority access to in-demand courses that fit their interests
  • Guidance from academic advisors and mentors
  • Career development and networking opportunities
  • Intensive classes with domestic students

Gonzaga University's Master of Accountancy (M.Acc) program prepares students for the rapidly changing accounting environment and the dynamic nature of the profession. Accounting is the language of business and the information provided has the power to drive individual companies and industries as a whole. Gonzaga recognizes the importance that accounting holds in the business marketplace.

Students are challenged to look beyond the numbers and understand the impact of financial information. The hallmarks of Gonzaga's system include a diverse and challenging curriculum, dedicated and knowledgeable faculty, and strong connections to employers in the public and private sector. The accounting program received separate AACSB accreditation in 2009 and is one of only 189 universities worldwide to earn this distinction.

Gonzaga’s Master of Accountancy program has been producing outstanding accountants for over 20 years, and has a record of success that speaks for itself.
