About Bachelor of Science - Accounting
With an ever-growing global economy and consistent demand for tax and finance experts, the demand for accountants is strong. As a student in Husson University’s School of Accounting, students will gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed to succeed on the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam and work in the public or private sector.
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting program provides students with a strong foundation in accounting principles and concepts while also preparing them to take the CPA exam. Students will begin taking accounting classes alongside fundamental business courses in their first year of study.
Upon graduating with B.S. in Accounting, students will have learned about a wide variety of business and accounting topics such as macroeconomics, international business, principles of accounting, forensic and investigative accounting, federal taxation, financial management and more. Students will have also gained valuable hands-on experience through paid internships.
The Bachelor of Science in Accounting curriculum includes a variety of general education and business classes, as well as both fundamental and advanced accounting courses.
