2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year in Architecture, Design and Fashion - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Architecture

This BA (Hons) Architecture course helps you develop the technical and analytical skills you need to begin a career as an architect. You could also consider roles in areas such as design practice, planning, historic building conservation and project management.

Students will explore architectural design in dedicated studio space alongside their peers, while developing their individual and team skills. They learn from professional architects who'll introduce them to industry thinking. Students get their hands on the latest CAD software, including BIM modelling, environmental evaluation software, 3d scanning and printing tools.

Get valuable experience on real projects by working with University of Portsmouth's in-house architectural practice, the Project Office. Get an opportunity to work in an architectural practice or do a placement year in the construction industry.
