2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year in Architecture, Design and Fashion - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Illustration

In this University of Portsmouth BA (Hons) Illustration degree, students will examine their own work and reflect on the work of other designers, filmmakers, painters, sculptors and writers. They’ll develop their own practical skills in illustration across the board and build the skills they’ll need for a successful, creative career.

Students explore traditional and contemporary illustration, while experimenting with a media such as print, animation, textiles and model making. They can unleash their creativity by re-defining illustration, challenging convention and exploring illustration's social, political and historical context.

Students get their hands on the latest image-making technology and get professional experience that will help them compete in the commercial arena after the course.
