About 8-Week Pre-Sessional English
This six-week course will help improve student's English language by the equivalent of IELTS 0.5 before starting their chosen degree. It is designed for international and EU students who already hold a conditional offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course.
As part of their course, students will:
- Improve their English language knowledge
- Gain extensive practice in academic reading, writing and listening
- Work on communication, presentation and seminar skills
- Develop time management, problem-solving, organisational and planning skills
- Raise intercultural awareness and self-confidence
- Be prepared for successful university study in the UK – by better understanding UK university culture, customs and expectations
