Bachelor of Arts - Communication Arts and Design - Studio Art

As the world changes, so do the modes of communication. The Communication Arts and Design program is based upon the concept of "convergence," bringing together creativity, practical skill and technological expertise into a unified curriculum that prepares students to succeed as modern-day artists and communicators.

All Communication Arts and Design majors are required to take courses in various media to obtain versatility in their chosen field. Each student will be provided with a strong core foundation. From there they can choose between three distinct specializations to further refine skills within their chosen area of interest.

The Studio Arts specialization combines traditional studio techniques with new media, where the past meets the future. Students will learn a variety of skills and techniques ranging from drawing to digital design. This specialization is designed for those who are interested in fine or visual arts.
