This Business Management and Human Resource Management degree course is perfect if students want to study business but they are also a people person who wants to help others reach their full potential.
Students will learn how to deal with issues and challenges facing the world of business while also developing the skills needed to attract and retain the right people, at the right time. If they want to, students will also have the opportunity to explore employment law.
This Business Management and Human Resource Management BA (Hons) degree focuses on understanding businesses, the business environment and how to manage the people within them.
Human resource management (HRM) is a key driving force for successful businesses. Because London Metropolitan University recognises this element is so important to business strategy, they’ve developed a course that doesn’t just teach students about core business principles, but also incorporates the people side of things too.
In the first year, students will develop a solid foundation of business management principles that they’ll build on in their second and third year. Students will also learn how to apply business theory to practical scenarios and learn how to acquire, motivate, develop and retain talent.
As the business landscape has changed in recent years, more people are needed to work flexibly across roles. This course is designed to educate students on change management and how to embrace this, aiming to make students more employable when they graduate.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
