The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a first-year program designed for international students with strong English-language skills. It offers additional support to complement English-taught classes, providing the necessary assistance for academic success.
Students enrolled in the Academic Accelerator Program can expect:

Louisiana is fortunate to have an abundance of natural resources. In order to safeguard public and ecological well-being, the state has cultivated a robust professional environmental community. The undergraduate degree program in environmental management systems equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to this community in various specialized areas, such as air permitting, environmental enforcement, water quality, and coastal restoration.
The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management Systems is divided into three concentrations:
- Environmental analysis and risk management
- Policy analysis
- Resource conservation
Each concentration offers elective courses that allow students to delve deeper into their areas of interest. By engaging with experienced environmental professionals during their junior and senior years, students can refine their career goals and focus on specific paths within the field of environmental management.
