Academic Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Plant and Soil Systems - Horticultural Sciences

The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program for international students with strong English-language skills. It complements immersive classes taught in English with appropriate support.

Students enrolled in the Academic Accelerator Program will receive:

The curriculum in plant and soil systems integrates the disciplines of agronomy, entomology, horticulture, plant pathology, and crop physiology. Students in this program will take core courses that lay the foundation for specialization in one of the following areas of concentration:

Students who choose the horticultural science concentration will be equipped to pursue advanced studies in horticulture and related fields. Horticultural scientists engage in research areas such as crop management, molecular biology, plant breeding, plant growth and development, plant metabolism, propagation, post-harvest physiology, stress physiology, and tissue culture.
