The Disaster Science and Management (DSM) Program at Louisiana State University, housed within the Department of Geography and Anthropology, offers undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue a B.A. or B.S. degree in Geography with a concentration in Disaster Science and Management.
Participation in the Disaster Science and Management program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the impact of disasters on the natural, built, and human environment. Students also gain skills in planning for, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from disasters.
