Master of Education - Educational Studies - Education Entrepreneurship

Master of Education - Educational Studies - Education Entrepreneurship program is aimed at individuals with an entrepreneurial and creative bent who do not intend to be classroom teachers in the traditional sense, yet have a desire to improve education-focused institutions or be self-employed. It is designed for those interested in developing businesses related to education (tutoring, consulting, early childhood/day care centers, preschools, learning centers, publishing) and in working in businesses, foundations, and non-profit organizations related to education. Those interested may be interested in program and curriculum design or delivery, training, program evaluation, fund raising or policy.

The Master of Education in Entrepreneurship is a joint venture between the School of Professional Studies and the School of Education. This degree

combines core courses in Education, including human development, ethics in education settings, and multicultural perspectives, with core Business courses, including marketing and analytical and financial tools. A set of electives allows students to individualize their programs to their specific areas of interest within education and/or business, in consultation with an advisor.
