About Associate of Science - Natural Sciences
The Natural Sciences represents a branch of science with multiple paths that deals with the physical world, including physics, chemistry, geology, biology, and astronomy. To earn an Associate in Science in Natural Sciences, students are required to take a variety of science classes that will give them a well-rounded background in the sciences leading to transfer to a four-year college and a variety of careers.
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the knowledge and application of scientific principles.
- Use and interpret formulas, graphs and tables.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of science in shaping technology and society.
