Program Description

This course is ideal for those who are interested in how businesses are operated and managed, but who also want to develop their own marketing expertise.

Through workshops, role-plays, problem-solving exercises and analysing case studies, students will learn to communicate their ideas and help to sell their products and services to customers. Students will also study the key business functions that organisations require for success. In terms of a career after students graduate, a BA in Business Management with a focus on marketing opens up a broad career path. The skills they'll develop are needed across almost every business and governmental sector, as well as third party organisations.

Developing the essential skills required for business will be at the core of the course. Students will develop their business acumen so they can deal with any challenge they will face in their fast-paced career.

Over the course of this Business Management and Marketing degree, students will learn by doing – the vast majority of the modules are practical, and they will be assessed based on real life case studies and simulations.

During the marketing section, students will take on a range of digital marketing courses. Students also have the opportunity to work on a marketing consultancy project where an external client will provide a project brief and they will work in a team to provide practical, actionable solutions. This gives students the opportunity to put their marketing knowledge into action, and ensures them are able to problem solve and negotiate as part of a team.
