Program Description
CINY’s associate Baking and Pastry program is for students who are passionate about the culinary industry but want to specialize in a particular niche. Designed to enable current students to adapt to fast changing trends as future bakers and pastry chefs, the program also includes general education and business components to prepare students for working on their own or as part of a larger enterprise. Students also learn about cost control, food purchasing and safe food handling. A capstone course provides direct experience in a local, regional or international establishment.Similar Programs
