Bachelor of Health and Physical Education - Athletic Therapy

About Bachelor of Health and Physical Education - Athletic Therapy
Over the course of 4 years, the Athletic Therapy major provides a comprehensive approach to physical activity, health and wellness. The skills and knowledge students will acquire will provide them with a well-rounded education that will expand their career and/or education options at a graduate or professional level.
Throughout each year of the four-year program, experiential learning components in- and outside the classroom will allow students to put theory into practice and gain the valuable skills that will support them later on in their career. A fourth-year capstone course will help to bring students' learning together and prepare them for the workforce or graduate studies.
Athletic therapists can find work at clinics, hospitals, wellness facilities, schools, with sports teams, manual laborers, and even the corporate sector. Some graduates may even start their own businesses.
