Mater of Science - Exercise and Sport Science

Blend advanced theoretical knowledge with practical competence to develop expertise in physiology, coaching administration, and applied research in the field. Learn the ins and outs of ethical considerations and regulatory compliance, ensuring that students will meet or exceed the highest standards in fitness, sports, and the well-being and safety of athletes and clients. 

The program’s interdisciplinary nature, involving collaboration with New York Tech’s other colleges and schools, offers them a comprehensive understanding of the field, opening opportunities for joint research projects and cross-departmental electives. 

They will have the option to delve into one or two concentrations: in Kinesiology, for those focusing on the scientific aspects of human performance; in Coaching Administration, for those aiming for roles in sports management and coaching; or in both, depending on their interests and career goals. 

Plus, any credits they earn from the Kinesiology, Advanced Certificate or the Coaching Administration, Advanced Certificate can be applied toward their Exercise and Sport Science, M.S.
