Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Software Engineering (DCW) (Co-op)

Program Description

In this program, students learn a range of technical skills you can use across several sectors! In this program students analyze, design, develop, test and integrate software into complex systems. With growing market demand, software engineering is one of Canada's newest engineering disciplines; however, there are few software engineering programs in Canada. At Ontario Tech University, the Software Engineering program focuses on the design of computer software and is exposed to software design for embedded systems, enterprise and mobile systems, distributed systems, real-time control systems, multi-media, and man-machine interfaces. Courses including software design, user interface, advanced networks, and design and analysis of algorithms prepare graduates for successful careers in the software engineering field.

There is a need for engineers with management skills. Students can complement the technical studies of their Engineering program with business and management courses by pursuing the five-year Bachelor of Engineering and Management (Honours) program.
