Program Description
Students can train with former and current law enforcement professionals and gain practical experience for a range of criminal justice careers. Choose from classes that are online, on-campus or both.
The Criminal Justice Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences degree is designed to prepare students for careers in law enforcement, corrections, private security as well as some legal/paralegal positions. Shoreline Community College works closely with local advisory committees and industry professionals to ensure students receive the knowledge and skills currently in demand by employers in the field. Students interested in pursuing a four-year baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice should follow the Criminal Justice AA-DTA transfer degree planning guide.
NOTE: Credit may be awarded by the CJ advisory for police academy or in-service police training.
