About Associate of Arts - Creative Writing

Program Description

Creative writing encourages the written expression of human thoughts, feelings and ideas through imaginative and ingenious uses of language. Through close reading and analysis of great literary artists, creative writing studies tap the imagination and talent of writers using various genres, narrative strategies, literary styles and poetic verse as literary models.

The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) is part of Shoreline’s General Transfer program and is designed to meet the first two years of requirements of most four-year degrees.
