About Year One Foundation Program - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts - Undeclared (Optional Co-op)
Why study this program?
Students who are not sure what Arts topic they want to major in, can select an Undeclared major for their first year, during which time they should consider up to three choices for major, taking courses pertaining to each. After their first year, students can then declare their major without falling behind in that program.
This Undeclared major is taken as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree. Augustana also offers an Undecided major as part of a Bachelor of Science degree.
Why study at the University of Alberta?
Augustana is a small campus located in Camrose, Alberta, just one hour southeast of Edmonton. This liberal arts and science campus is home to just over 1,000 students from across Canada and around the world. Augustana offers degree programs in an intimate and personalized setting, with an average class size of 22 people.
Each semester is comprised of a three-week session studying a single course, followed by a more traditional 11-week session studying up to four courses. This gives students the opportunity to dive deeper into research, travel, and other experiential learning endeavors, while at the same time reducing stress and workload.
