Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Photography (with Foundation Year)

About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Photography (with Foundation Year)
The combined 4 year programme allows students with lower academic marks, or whose qualifications are not equivalent to British A Levels, to gain the necessary qualifications to proceed to undergraduate study. After completing the Foundation Year, students will be eligible to progress to a number of University of Chester undergraduate programmes.
During this BA Photography course students will be introduced to the key issues and debates which inform contemporary practice as they develop a critically reflective and self-initiated practice. Students will have the opportunity to engage with the medium of photography in an experimental way, and as the course progresses students will evolve a personal practice and visual identity in their chosen genre and context.
BA Photography studies culminate in the Art and Design degree show where students will present a body of work, which has emerged from a personal project created over the course of their final year's study.
