Bachelor of Science - Exercise Science for Health Professions

Exercise science is an interdisciplinary field focused on the study of maintaining and improving the health of patients and clients across the age spectrum. The Exercise Science for Health Professions Program is designed to prepare undergraduate students for entry into a wide variety of disciplines, particularly health professions graduate programs. The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides a variety of pathways for exercise science students after earning their undergraduate degree. University of Findlay's curriculum places a high emphas​is on comprehensive biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and anatomy courses, giving students the foundational knowledge required to excel at the graduate level in healthcare professions.

Within the Exercise Science for Health Professions major, students are required to take courses dedicated to research and experiential learning in order to graduate. These experiences may include working with a University of Findlay faculty member on research and participating in laboratory coursework centered around exercise and sports science areas, including biomechanics and exercise physiology.
