About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Geography (L700)
Water, climate change, sea-level rise, coastal risk, pollution, ecological dynamics and global sustainability. These present some of the critical environmental challenges of this century, are geographical in origin and solution, and are the focus of the Bachelor of Arts in Geography.
Graduates will develop a world view, be exposed to a broad range of geographies and acquire an extensive laboratory, statistical and Geographic Information System (GIS) skillset. They will find that the abilities they develop are readily transferable, with Geographers continuing to be one of the most sought-after graduates, able to turn their hand to a vast range of employment sectors.
Students with a focus on small class, practical and field learning, will be assessed entirely by coursework to gain a truly representative measure of graduate attributes sought by future employers and for postgraduate study.
