Master of Accountancy (MAc) - Managerial Accounting

As business processes move toward automation, employers need accounting professionals with curious minds who can lead companies into the future. In Iowa’s Master of Accountancy program, students will learn to embrace ambiguity, ask probing questions, and leverage new technology. Students will build critical thinking muscle while earning the additional semester hours they need to take the CPA exam in this 1-year program.

These days, accountants have a seat at the management table. That seat means graduates need to understand how other areas of the business work, like marketing and production. Ideal for careers in management/cost accounting, controller’s office, and manufacturing consulting.
