Master of Accountancy (MAc) - Tax

As business processes move toward automation, employers need accounting professionals with curious minds who can lead companies into the future. In Iowa’s Master of Accountancy program, students will learn to embrace ambiguity, ask probing questions, and leverage new technology. Students will build critical thinking muscle while earning the additional semester hours they need to take the CPA exam in this 1-year program.

Over 7.6 billion hours a year are spent complying with the tax code. Needless to say, demand for tax specialists is higher than ever. With a focus on tax, students will learn current and future tax issues, and how to find answers through research in any tax environment.
