2-Term Pathway - International Foundation Programme in Computing, Engineering, Mathematical Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Computer Science - Cyber Security

The International Foundation Programme – Computing, Engineering, Mathematical Sciences enables students to understand a range of areas relating to their further degree study. These include Maths, Data Analysis, Computer Sciences, Programming and Digital Design.

The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a level 3 foundation year that is an equivalent qualification to A levels. During students' programme they will develop subject-specific knowledge with a strong focus on improving their academic English language skills in preparation for studying at university.

Computer Science is an exciting and rapidly evolving subject that affects every area of our lives. A deep understanding of computing puts students in a great position to influence the future as well as opening up excellent employment prospects and well-paid careers. They learn the fundamentals of computer science with a focus in their final year on cyber security.

On this course students learn a broad base of computer science skills with a focus in their final year on cyber security. This is an excellent programme choice if they are looking for a career in information security management or cyber security risk within commercial or government organisations.
