About Master of Science - Child and Adolescent Development
University of La Verne’s Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Development program prepares elementary and secondary education teachers and other professionals to increase their understanding of the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children or adolescents. Students develop capabilities to assume leadership roles in all facets of the child development field.
The MS in Child and Adolescent Development consists of 33 units. Students select a concentration in early childhood or adolescence and complete a culminating activity. Courses are offered in late afternoons and evenings to accommodate the schedules of working students.
