Master of Science - Fire Scene Investigation (Professional Placement)

UCLAN has collaborated with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) to create an exciting programme of study in Fire Scene Investigation which will see students investigate the cause and origin of fires, using multi-disciplinary science and research methodology.

For their dissertation, students will get to study an area of fire science that interests them, taking responsibility for designing, conducting, analysing and interpreting the results of a substantial investigation that’ll also be contributing to the discipline.

Students will gain valuable work experience with an opportunity to undertake a professional placement as part of their MSc, or choose an industry-based project.
