Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting (Optional Co-op)

Accountants are central to the operations and strategies of all types of organizations as well as the foundation of short- and long-term success. Accountants provide business and financial advice by measuring, analyzing,  forecasting and reporting organizational performance, resources and risk. They are required to have integrity and the ability to think critically, communicate, and interact with others effectively.

 

Accounting students gain technical skills and learn how to address a broad range of business problems. They will acquire and practice the skills needed for success, including writing and presenting, using professional tools and case analyses. Students study financial reporting, individual and corporate taxation, business analytics and information systems, auditing, management control systems and costing, as well as a variety of other management disciplines.
