Bachelor of Science - Manufacturing Engineering Technology - Advanced Manufacturing

Engineering Technology majors are the ones that make things happen – the applied expert between the engineer and the craftsman. The University of Northern Iowa's program prepares students for exciting careers in research and development, engineering, materials testing, quality control and more. With three different emphasis areas in Metal Casting, Design, and Advanced Manufacturing, graduates can choose classes that fit their goals and interests.

Students have the chance to work in the University of Northern Iowa's outstanding facilities, including: a full production lab, the internationally recognized Metal Casting Center, and the University's Additive Manufacturing Center, which is a recognized world leader in research and development in the additive manufacturing industry.

The advanced manufacturing emphasis gives heightened focus to the content areas of advanced manufacturing processes, production management and computer-aided manufacturing.
