Master of Science - Food Production Management

Food Production Management offers an exciting and demanding academic path, blending food sciences with managerial expertise. Participants acquire comprehensive knowledge of food processing, quality assurance, and new product development. Additionally, the program emphasizes essential management techniques, such as supply chain planning and quality management.

Throughout the year, participants benefit from industry exposure through factory visits, case studies, and guest speakers from the industry. The program incorporates a problem-based learning module, addressing real-world industry challenges. Industry briefs serve as the foundation for a new product development project. Practical experience takes place in the Food Processing Facility, which houses an array of commercial-scale food production and testing equipment.

The program provides the opportunity for collaborative research projects with the food industry. Projects can be conducted in factory, laboratory, or literature-based settings. In certain cases, students may complete their project at the facilities of an industry partner.
