About English Intensive Program (EIP)
The English Intensive Program at uOttawa is designed to help students learn language skills, academic abilities, and intercultural knowledge. It will help students succeed in their program of study as well as their future career. Students will be given tools to better understand and communicate ideas with others. They will also benefit from many opportunities to practise their English with peers.
The English Intensive Program is offered each semester with semesters beginning each September, January and May. Language learning takes place both inside and outside of the classroom. Come and explore all the ways University of Ottawa's students stay engaged during their time in their programs. From preparation week, to weekly sociocultural outings, University of Ottawa supports students every step of the way!
