About Intensive ESL Program
Program Description
WELS offers the international community an opportunity to study non-credit English courses to increase English proficiency and experience our Canadian culture through Short Term Programs and Camps.
Intensive ESL Program (noncredit courses). The program comprises five intensive ESL levels ranging from level 1 (basic proficiency) to level 5 (advanced proficiency). Students will develop their communicative skills in the four English language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Building those communicative skills allows students to develop their strategic and socio-cultural communicative skills on top of linguistic skills.
