3.5-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Life Sciences - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Environmental Science

At ONCAMPUS Reading, students are provided with the opportunity to prepare for degree study and are assured progression to a variety of undergraduate degrees at the University of Reading. This program is specifically designed for international students who have completed their senior secondary education, with the aim of helping them gain entry into undergraduate studies at the University of Reading. Upon successful completion of the University Foundation Program with the required level of achievement in all academic areas and the necessary English language score, students will automatically transition to an undergraduate program at the University of Reading. The University Foundation Program is set at NQF level 3, which is equivalent to A level standard in the United Kingdom.

Most programs last for one academic year, divided into three terms consisting of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. On average, students will participate in 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

Environmental science three-year degree has a strong scientific focus. The learning will cover everything from the single cells and atoms that make up our world to the cycling of matter and flows of energy within the solid Earth and its surface, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere.
