3.5-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Life Sciences - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Environmental Science (with Professional Experience)

At ONCAMPUS Reading, students are provided with the opportunity to prepare for degree study and are assured progression to a variety of undergraduate degrees at the University of Reading. This program is specially tailored for international students who have completed their senior secondary education, with the aim of helping them gain entry into undergraduate studies at the University of Reading. Upon successful completion of the University Foundation Program with the required level of achievement in all academic areas and the necessary English language score, students will automatically progress to an undergraduate program at the University of Reading. The University Foundation Program is set at NQF level 3, which is equivalent to A level standard in the United Kingdom.

Most programs last for one academic year, divided into three terms consisting of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. On average, students will participate in 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

One example of an undergraduate program offered is the BSc Environmental Science with Professional Experience. Students will explore Earth’s natural systems - its physical, chemical, and biological interactions - and use this knowledge to develop strategies for addressing major environmental issues such as climate change and pollution.
