4-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Business - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Economics

At ONCAMPUS Reading, students are provided with the opportunity to prepare for degree study and are guaranteed progression to a variety of undergraduate degrees at the University of Reading. The program is specifically designed for international students who have completed their senior secondary education and aims to prepare them for entry into undergraduate studies at the University of Reading. Successful completion of the University Foundation Program, meeting the required level of attainment in all academic areas and achieving the necessary English language score, will allow students to seamlessly progress to an undergraduate program at the University of Reading. The University Foundation Program is equivalent to A level standard in the United Kingdom, set at NQF level 3.

The majority of programs offered last for one academic year, divided into three terms consisting of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. Students can expect to engage in approximately 21 to 25 hours of classroom-based study per week on average.

The BSc program at ONCAMPUS Reading focuses on analyzing global events and economic phenomena, exploring topics such as economic growth, business cycle management, and the necessity of a 5-day work week. Through the utilization of various theories and methodologies, including game theory, strategic interactions, and experimental approaches, students will develop the skills to understand and predict individual and collective economic behaviors.

Core modules within the program cover a wide range of subjects, including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistical and Econometric Methods, Mathematics for Economists, Economic Theory, and Behavioral Economics.
