About Bachelor of Arts - French and Francophone Intercultural Studies (Optional Co-op)

This is no ordinary French degree! University of Regina's traditional Bachelor of Arts program has been completely reshaped to integrate innovative teaching methods. Professors create their own material and pedagogical resources specifically adapted to University of Regina students, while making use of the newest classroom technologies. 

The Bachelor of Arts focuses on study of the French language and Francophone cultures around the world.

A French degree opens up many doors in Canada and internationally, both on the personal and professional levels. It allows students to develop: 

Knowledge - Pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing in French; language structure and linguistic theories; economic, political, social, intellectual, artistic and history from francophone regions; a holistic appreciation for francophone cultures and their challenges.
