Program Description
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In the international foundation year, students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into students' intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
The International Foundation Year in Business & Social Sciences will familiarize students with a wide area of study. They will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing them with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.
BA (Hons) Education & Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) blends Education Studies, TESOL and placement to create a unique course for undergraduate students who want to go on to teach English in an international context or to work in other related fields.
This three-year programme provides the opportunity for placement each year. Students will be taught about Education and TESOL by experts at the University of Strathclyde: the leading provider of teacher education in Scotland.
