Program Description
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the University of Surrey International Study Centre followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Surrey. In your Pre-Masters programme you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.
Pre-Masters
The Engineering Pre-Masters programme provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to postgraduate degree study in a related field at the University of Surrey. During the programme students will study a core unit of general subject skills and subject-specific units, which are carefully designed for your academic development.
Degree Program
This MSc will provide students with in-depth training and hands-on learning experiences. It’s well-suited to anyone interested in a career in research-oriented institutions or pioneering technology companies that specialise in deep and machine learning, robotics and automation, and image and video analysis.
On this course, students will explore advanced computer vision and machine learning approaches for image and video analysis, as well as low-level image processing methods.
Students will also have the opportunity to substantially expand their programming skills through the projects they choose to take on.
