Program Description
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
In the International Foundation Year in Sciences & Engineering, you will explore and begin to understand the power of engineering and science in the real world. While you begin to learn the technical aspects of your desired degree program you will also be provided with a critical outlook and approach employers want in your chosen field.
In the School of Life Sciences at Sussex, you’ll learn from some of the world’s leading biochemists.
This means you can choose from a range of modules – based on the latest research – in topics such as molecular biology and drug discovery. You’ll understand the theories, practise your skills in laboratory sessions and get ready for your own research project.
