Program Description

The English Language Preparation programme is available for students who need to improve their English language skills in order to reach the required level for your programme at the University of Surrey International Study Centre. After successful completion of the English language programme, you will advance into your international foundation year.

Foundation Year

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the University of Surrey International Study Centre followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Surrey. In your international foundation year you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences International Foundation Year leads to a wide range of degrees in engineering, science and mathematics-related subjects. During the International Foundation Year you will study a core unit of general subject skills, subject-specific units and elective units, which are carefully designed for your academic development.

Degree Program

Upon completion of the pathway portion of this program, you will enter the Biochemistry program at the University of Surrey. You will be introduced to a variety of transferable skills, and you will study several different topics such as metabolism, molecular biology, neuroscience, pharmacology and sleep. The skills you learn at the University of Surrey will help you become an inspired global professional.
