Master of Engineering - Applied Data Science (Optional Co-op)

The MEng in Applied Data Science (MADS) program will prepare students for a high-demand career in data-driven industries. This is an intensive, course-based degree designed for motivated students and IT professionals. Students will learn specialized knowledge in data sciences that are transforming businesses worldwide.

Outcomes

Students in this program will:

• analyze and manage data sets efficiently and effectively
• apply data analytic methods in solving problems
• manage security and privacy in problem solving and decision making
• understand the role, ethics and responsibilities of an applied data scientist
• effectively communicate technical knowledge of data science methods and projects and best practices to stakeholders and the broader community

Graduate students registered in full-time programs are automatically considered for a fellowship. This is based on a qualifying GPA.
