The Bachelor of Science - Business Administration in Business Economics program focuses on economics as it applies to business and government organizations.

University of West Florida provides students with a comprehensive view of the area of economics in business, training them to apply a set of analytical tools to understand the interrelations between the economy and the business environment under different market conditions.

This major provides outstanding preparation for the Master of Business Administration degree, law school or graduate study in economics.

Students will actively participate in small projects, such as data analysis and forecasting, gaining hands-on experience in managerial decision-making. Specific topics include health care, crime, finance, production, international trade, labor, taxation, politics, the environment, pricing strategies, regulation and deregulation, data analysis and forecasting.
