Master of Science - Mechanical Engineering - Mechatronics Concentration

Technology is constantly evolving and the MS in Mechanical Engineering degree will not only help students meet current challenges head-on, but innovate the future of the industry and the modern world. This program will also prepare students for a career in Mechatronics and its many applications in society. By gaining more advanced skills, students will learn how to effectively study and implement the techniques and inventions that will make lives easier into the next decades.

To satisfy requirements for an advanced degree in mechanical engineering, students will take three core courses in Engineering Management or Project Management, Quality Engineering, Design of Experiments, System Integration, and Mechanical Engineering. At the completion of these 12 credits, they will then choose a faculty advisor and course of study for the remainder of their education. The choices include an all-course option; a project option, which includes advanced coursework and a final presented project; and a thesis option, that involved advanced coursework and a thesis with a presentation.
