Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Business Management & Economics (NC20)

The BSc (Hons) in Business Management & Economics course covers a wide range of theoretical and analytical subjects, as well as methods for analyzing real-world corporate and economic challenges. Business management and economic skills are interwoven, providing students with knowledge that enables them to comprehend and critically assess business, finance, marketing, and accounting methods.

Modules are taught by trained academics and industry practitioners, with academic staff equipped with information, expertise, and resources to support student learning. The modules are designed to enhance employability skills, graduation qualities, teamwork, and leadership abilities, and they are graded through a combination of knowledge and skills assessed via tests, homework, and presentations.

Students will improve their interpersonal and critical thinking skills while being both challenged and supported throughout their degree. The university is one of the few in the UK offering direct access to Bloomberg data, information, and analytics in a dedicated trading room, which simulates the experience of working on a real trading floor in the financial district.

Recognizing that employers seek dynamic, open-minded graduates who can adapt, innovate, and collaborate, the university has designed a new approach to teaching and learning to ensure that students are work-ready upon graduation.
