Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Law and Criminology

The contemporary Law and Criminology degree empowers students to navigate complex legal frameworks, advocate for justice, and contribute to the prevention and resolution of criminal issues.

By taking a critical approach to both the law and how it is used, students will foster a deeper awareness of justice and fairness to prepare them for a range of careers in the criminal justice and legal professions, such as a solicitor, probation officer or fraud investigator.

Throughout their degree students will have many opportunities to delve into real-world experiences through work placements and links with industry. If they study on the four-year (sandwich) course, students will spend a year away from the University on a work placement after year two.

Modules have been developed to future-proof  students, preparing them for rapid developments within their future careers that will inevitably come with the AI age.

Graduates will leave Cardiff Met as an insightful professionals ready to effect change or work within the criminal justice system and ​beyond.
