The 2-Semester Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Programme - Life Sciences is a one-year programme offers successful students guaranteed progression to Loughborough University. This programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the university.

The International Foundation Programme is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the United Kingdom. The two semester programme lasts one academic year [nine months]. Each semester includes, on average, 13 teaching weeks, one reading week and one assessment week. On average, students will undertake 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week. This programme includes English and three academic subject modules. English will be integrated into the teaching of academic subjects, as well as being taught separately if they need additional support to develop their English language. They will be assessed at regular intervals throughout the programme to ensure they are making the progress required to successfully complete the programme. Full assessment of the programme will take place in the final semester. Assessment methodologies are aligned to those that will be experienced in the University environment, and include project work, essays, and presentations.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Psychology offers a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of psychological science, and explores how this theory can be applied to real-world issues. Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) students are able to tailor the degree to their interests and career aspirations through a range of optional modules. Teaching is influenced by the 'world-leading' and 'internationally excellent' research of the academic staff, who have expertise and professional experience in areas including: eating behaviour, chronic illness, parenting and social inclusion, substance abuse and behavioural addictions, sleep quality and mental health, and more.
